CareWare Computer Repair was started in January 2002. The owner started the company with one main focus and that focus was treating people/customers like the way he wanted to be treated. He had worked in call center for a company called Convergys. He was going to work as an IT technician for Microsoft Millennium. Windows Me was one of the worst operating systems that Microsoft had ever created.There were so many people that were frustrated with that OS. He knew that he was going to work with many hostile customers. To boot he noticed that the management treated the employees like cogs in a giant machine. He remembers the first day when the head supervisor came and spoke to the new recruits and told them that we are here to use you and that we own you. You are here for us. This company does not allow individuals to move up the corporate ladder.
Do not get comfortable. Many people come and go every week. If we catch you messing around, we will fire you. He had worked for two family businesses prior to coming to this company. He had managed one company and owned another. He knew how important it was to make his employees and customers feel like they cared about them. It had to be genuine or they would see right through a fake facade.

The work that Mark does at CareWare is terrific. When he came to my house, he was very efficient, helpful, and trustworthy. I called about an issue I was having with my motherboard not being able to POST (Power On Self Test) but it is brand new and the hardware was too bleeding edge for him to test properly at the time. I would point out though that he was very helpful offering advise and tips that I could try even though he knew that he wasn't going to be making any money. I'm pretty technical myself and he was giving good advice. I would definitely trust and support this business.

I'm self-employed, so when my laptop suddenly refused to turn on one morning, I needed professional help fast! Mark was the first person I called, and he was able to take a look at my computer in the same day. The bad news is that my laptop ended up having a damaged motherboard and hard drive, but the good news is that Mark gave me a way to access my files online so I could continue to work, provided consistent status updates, and recommended a much better laptop as a replacement that will likely last much longer than my old one. Five-star service, highly recommend to anyone who needs personable, transparent computer help.

The charger port broke on my laptop and I first took it to a PC Repair shop and they said it would take 2 weeks to fix and cost around $150. I called CareWare Computer Repair and Mark said it could be done in 5 days and cost $100. Sure enough it was done and I had it back in no time. Very Timely and affordable!

My wife's 2021 MacBook Air had an unfortunate run-in with ramen broth. Fearing the worst, we turned it off immediately and hung it upside down to dry. We looked all around for anyone who would service Macs with water damage, but neither Apple nor Best Buy nor any other big store would even look at it. Finally, we stumbled across Mark, and he worked magic.
While we didn't have any expectations, necessarily, that the computer would perfectly recover (the trackpad was having some serious problems), we were so relieved to finally have found someone who would at least take a look at it and try their best. Thanks to Mark's work, the trackpad is up and running again, and he charged a very reasonable price for the repair. We will definitely be coming back in the future with any problems that arise. We have used Mark for our computer repair needs for 9+ years. He always has our computer repaired quickly and at an excellent price. He always makes sure we understand exactly what he did to repair our computer and "gets us up to speed" so we can get back to our business. Super friendly and easy to talk to! Very patient. I don't remember how we found Mark in the first place, but we feel like we are part of the "inner circle" with computer repair. He will make you feel like that too.

Mark is incredibly superb in fixing my computer issues. After I called Quick Books support and was on the phone for a half hour waiting for them to pick up after I had already called for a scheduled support appointment which they never followed through on, and after I called the company I bought the program from couldn't help me, Care Ware's Mark Ratto was able to completely resolve my issues remotely and my Quick Books is running perfectly! I wish I could give CareWare 10 stars, he is that good and that responsive! He helped me install Windows 10 on my computer.
