They do not fix motherboards, they do not do soldering. I took my MacBook and I tolled them that motherboard is dead and asked if they can fix motherboard, they said "yes". I payed 75$ for diagnostics. I was thinking they will look for bad cap or chip on logic board. ALL THEY DID IS UNPLUG THE BATTERY PLUG IT BACK IN. That was 75$ dollars diagnostics!?!?!? What a scam! Don't take your computer there. I know I wont, ever. I am very disappointed and upset.

Thank you computer doctor. My experience with computer doctor from the time I walked in to their business was fantastic. I was greeted as I entered the store, and the front desk customer service employee that waited on me walked me thru the process of what it would take to fix my MacBook Air. My MacBook Air 2014 needed a new battery. They ordered the battery, and it only took three days, and they texted me when it was finished.

Made an appointment for an Iphone repair through the iPhone app. They gave us this place as an option. It was clear in our appointment request what repair was needed. Arrived for our appointment only to be told they can't work on the phone. I asked them why were we given an appointment then? His answer, " we've told them not too" My question to you, do you even check your appointments to see what they are for? If it's a known problem for you then find a way to let the customer know you can't help them prior to them driving 45 minutes to your store.

I walked into the store randomly because my iPhone seemed it was hacked or had a virus. Lovely young man told me it did not. He fixed my issue super fast and told me to get my money back from the anti-viruse thing I bought on line. Totally made my day I will definitely go back if I have issues

My Macbook pro needed a screen replacement ASAP and Computer Doctor BG delivered. Since it was my only laptop I got to keep it and use an external monitor until the part was shipped from Apple which was done quickly. After the part arrived it took a couple of hours for the actual repair. Very minimal disruption to my work schedule and communication was great throughout the process.

If you want to fix your Mac in an environment the exact opposite of the Mac store, this is the place to come. Rude store clerk. Opaque pricing. To replace a hard drive on a ten year old Mac, install an operating system and restore the backup was going to cost at least $500 when a new MacBook Air is only $1000. It sounded like they were going to run their own diagnostic and come up with some more stuff to add on top of that!

I'm sure by the end we could have bought a whole new computer. Who would ever waste their time here? Not me. If you are under Apple Care, go to the Apple Store. If you have an old device and it breaks, time for a new one. Kind of like a TV, it's not worth it to fix it. Blame Apple. Not me.

This was the fastest, easiest repair I've ever experienced. They promised 3-5 days. It was DONE and back in my possession working perfectly in under 24 hours. Stellar performance.

I have an older Mac Mini that stopped working (hard drive issues). Made the appointment through Apple's service website. Steve met me at the appointment time, asked questions about the issues, and walked me through my options. My machine was fixed over the next two days. There was some interim correspondence back and forth via text (my preferred method of communication).

When I picked it up, I met with Tony who walked me through the restart and restore process through my Time Machine back up. His instructions were 100% on the mark and I am back up and running. Overall an excellent experience! Would definitely recommend them and/or use them again. Thanks.

I spilled an energy drink on my company's MacBook and nearly died thinking I lost all my data that wasn't backed up. The apple store technicians had told me it was more than likely when they send my computer out to get fixed the memory will be completely wiped and recommended me to come here to get it backed up first.so I took it here to do just that but they ended up completely fixing the liquid damage and was able to keep the data intact! Saving me money and from loosing my job. One million Thanks!

Very disappointed. Scheduled an appointment through Apple. Showed up on time and waited (no biggie deal I get being busy). When I did get up they quoted me almost double what Apple charges for the same service. (By the way this is all out of warranty) Waste of time driving, waiting and driving home. Lesson learned, just go to the Genius Bar.

I got my MacBook Pro keyboard replaced recently. Service was quick and fast and saved me a ton of money. Got my laptop back in just a couple of days. So far, it works great. Great technicians working over there. Will definite come back in the future.

Great shop, friendly staff! Definitely my go-to for my electronic repairs. They replaced my laptop battery through Apple due to recall and that went smoothly and quickly. They also recovered data from an ancient external hard drive; I had no hope but they recovered 100% of my data which is amazing! It took them some time to complete the recovery, but that was expected and the price was reasonable. Best of all, the staff communicated with me throughout the process so I never had to worry!

They wanted to charge $350 to replace a hard drive minus the non-refundable $75 I paid at the time of drop off. I've had this service done before and it was under $150 in CA which is an expensive state. Update: In response to the vendors response: This is a Dell desktop, not an Apple so you being an Apple authorized repair whatever, does not matter to me. Also, you took 2.5 days to look at my desktop which is also a ridiculous amount of time.

Had a 2013 MacBook Air top case replaced here. They were super polite, professional and fast --total cost just under $400. Feels like I have a brand new laptop! I would definitely come here again.

My Dell laptop had a dead battery. It would not accept new charge and was not able to power the laptop by itself (The laptop still worked fine when a direct power source was provided). I brought the laptop to Computer Doctor BG at 4075 S Durango Dr., Las Vegas. They tested and verified it was the battery problem, gave me a quote for the new battery and the labor.

I agreed to the price and left the laptop with them. Two days later they called me to pick up the machine. The problem was fixed and battery was working fine again. The transaction was smooth, no surprised. I felt that the people there were competent and straightforward to deal with. I recommend the place.

I hate leaving my laptop anywhere but my ancient Macbook Pro needed help. It was at death's door. These guys saved my laptop! They were patient in listening to me cry my woes and reassured me it was safe in their hands. I got a diagnosis of the problem within a few days. A part had to be ordered but beside that wait time, they got my laptop back working in no time.

Came in here to buy a used Mac that we had seen online. We asked the guy working questions about the macs they had and the ones online. He literally had no answer and no idea about any of the products. We actually walked out because we didn't feel confident enough to buy anything here when the staff couldn't answer basic questions. We ended up buying a new Mac at apple with the same features and brand new for only a few hundred more than this place had for sale.

My father-in-law came to visit and needed his Apple computer fixed because the battery kept dying. These guys were not only able to fix his computer, but we're very responsive to any questions and communication we have with them. They had it fixed more quickly than they had originally promised and their prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back to them again.

Good to have a reliable repair shop for older macs. Apple wants you to buy a new one even if the old one can be fixed. These guys did a good job and were good at communication on repair progress.

My MacBook Pro was experiencing some keyboard issues (which was covered by the Mac keyboard service program) and the staff there was super friendly. I thought my laptop was going to take a while to get fixed, but it only took about 2 days. Fast and quality service. My whole keyboard is brand new and now I can get my college work done! Highly recommend this place.

I took my circa 2012 Mac mini in for servicing because it was running very slowly with recent operating system upgrades. After doing a check, within 24 hours I was told that my hardware and software on the Mac mini were running nominally and there were no problems. I asked about ways to try to increase the speed of processing on the machine, thinking that there was probably not a lot to be done except to replace the Mac mini.

But the technician suggested that my hard drive was relatively slow and that I could upgrade that with a solid state drive. I asked about the CPU but the technician didn't think that that would likely be causing the speed problem. So I agreed to have him put in a terabyte solid-state drive to replace the HDD. Total cost of diagnostics, new parts and service was a bit over $400.

When I got home and plugged in the repaired machine I was very pleasantly surprised that it was running MUCH faster! Now it appears that for $400 I was able to effectively replace my Mac mini with a new machine that runs fine with the current operating systems and lots of data. As I said, going into this, I was expecting to be told that nothing could be done and that I would need to purchase a new machine.

A new Mac mini with a similar configuration to my current machine would have run in excess of $1500. So I'll give $1000+ worth of thanks to the people at computer Doctor BG for a job very well done!

The people of computer doctor BG are angels sent from above. During the quarantine, because of course, my MacBook Pro 2011 decided to not work. May or may not have been because I didn't maintain the updates. Needless to say when Apple stores started to open up again, I knew I would go. When I logged on to find an Apple store this place had an appointment in the next 45 minutes.

Now it's important to know that I know nothing about fixing computers and get intimidated when I go places. When I showed up for my appointment they were beyond friendly and attentive and assisted me. They told me they would need to keep the computer and then they would run some tests to see if it could be fixed. They would then use a text messaging system to keep me updated with the status.

They texted me the next day and let me know that they figured out the problem! They asked for me to confirm each step of the process and didn't blindside me at all with the price. They are only open during the week so I had to wait to go in but right when I got there they assisted me again. My computer works as good as new and I am so grateful. If I ever have an issue, I will be sure to go here again!

I just love these guys. I feel like I am going to ask my brother for help that is how personable they are. I got the best service on my Mac and Apple actually sent me to them! How fantastic is that I am still amazed they did that. Do not hesitate to go there they are super smart and very fair with their pricing. Very pleased with the service I got here. Was told by The Geek Squad that my repair would be almost $200. Well for a netbook that I only surf with I didn't find it worth it. Put it away for a year and decided to call around. Called Computer Doctor BG and was quoted way below that so I brought it in. 20 hours later it was ready! Will be back for all my Computer needs.
