I have gone to Jeff often over the past three years to help me with my Mac-often in desperate straits; he always helps me with a swift and effective solution. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without his expert assistance. The best part about Jeff, besides his expertise, is his attitude he seems to always believe in a positive solution to every problem.

EZ-IT is top notch. Jeff is an IT expert who assesses the problem quickly and gets the job done without delay. He also provides great suggestions for enhancements to our systems. As a nonprofit with a limited budget, we really appreciate his creative ideas for minimizing our costs and his willingness to provide some pro-bono work.

Jeff has been great to work with. He makes it very convenient by accommodating my schedule and I am amazed at what he is able to do remotely. It is nice not to have to take time out of my busy schedule to take may computer to a shop for updates or repairs and then be without it for several days. Can’t say enough good things about EZ-IT!

This is absolutely the worst company we have ever had to deal with. We hired them to deal with our local business and work on some of our workstations. The technician was very rude and didn't even fix our issue. Even worst he made racial comments about me that my staff overheard to his work associate. The fact that people and business like this still exist is tragic. Would highly recommend you stay away from this company at all cost.

EZ-IT is a reliable company that has helped me remotely several times over the years. Jeff goes above and beyond, and does incredible work. A few times I would have been in deep trouble, but with Jeff's assistance I was able to get my computer back on track in no time. I highly recommend!

WORTH READING to the END: $/HR & TALKS: Takes significant time to chit chat about life AND teach about a project to whoever is present (me, my employees) even when you tell him you only want the job done without the lecture: charges by the hour and is VERY talkative. BRINGS KID: Brought his son a few times over the year he served my business. That required some babysitting by one of my employees and in some cases clean up afterwards. Jeff often has a sob story so taking pity is expected. MISDIAGNOSIS: Tried to sell me a new expensive Apple router to replace my high end ASUS one.

He misdiagnosed, so I'm glad I didn't take his sales pitch. A reboot a couple days later and zero problems since (many months). POOR "SAVE MONEY" RECOMMENDATION: His recommendations to save $ are not always good. In an attempt to save me "hundreds per month", I agreed to allow him to install a VOIP system with Vonage. One year later, after attempts by him, our new tech, and a Vonage tech, to improve the "can you hear me now" effect on many calls and periodic voicemails we cannot understand (lost business?) to no avail, we are returning to our simple landline based PBX system and reducing from our former 6 lines to all we need of 3 lines which will cost us a mere $30 more per month than I now pay using VOIP.

I never should have taken that suggestion! ERRONEOUS CHARGES & LAW SUIT: Charged me erroneously, which is why I dropped him. Prior, I paid the bills without question. When my last bill came, I wrote a letter of all justifiable expenses and paid for them. He sent me to collections. I wrote them a letter and they left me alone. He summoned me to court, and thereby stole a day of my business life.

My attorney recommended I settle because I could make around 6 times the amount of the claim if I worked. "Roll over and play dead" is not something I do well, especially when the battle stands on moral principles. After I issued him the counter claim, he asked me to settle at zero and he would drop his claim. He called me "Bro" and "Bud", he gave his story of being a "single father of four", and tried a guilt trip by insulting my religion.

My employee and I thought at two moments, while in the private conference room, that he was going to swing. The judge obviously ruled that he lost. Owner, Jeff, is organizationally incompetent, emotionally volatile and manipulative, and technologically mediocre. He may be ok at some tech work, but I only used him because we knew of no one else at the time when his postcard came in the mail. There are others. It's worth looking around. At first I was not impressed with the customer service but I realized it was not Jeff who I was corresponding with it was a female. When I spoke with Jeff directly I was able to get the answers I needed. Jeff is the only person that was able to resolve my computer problem. I had irreplaceable pictures that no other company was able to retrieve from my hard drive. Jeff was the only person I have found that was able to get them for me! Thanks Jeff!

Terrible customer service and an even worse attitude. Couldn't fix my server and still charged me without any recommendations as to where I could even take it to get fixed!

Why did I not read the recent reviews prior to going to this place for my computer repairs. I would shop around before going to EZ IT.

Do not do business with this company. The owner Jeff Hochstatter treats his customers poorly, is untrustworthy and attempts to extort as much money as possible from his customers. The quoted price for his services are not accurate and always seem to include additional, hidden costs. If you do not pay the new adjusted price, he will hold your items for ransom.

If you do decide to do business with this company, be sure to remove any personal/confidential information or photos from your machine prior to releasing your machine to EZ-IT. If any incriminating information is found, you will be notified and expected to pay additional funds so that the information is not made public. For somebody in the IT business, their website is poorly made and reflects the type of service you plan on receiving from Jeff.

EZ-IT placed an Amazon order with PENWA for 35010 Canister of 36 Sharpie Fine markers with Amazon Standard (3-5 busness days) shipping. The combined price of the item and the shipping was the lowest price available on Amazon. We then provided a free upgrade to Amazon Expedited (1-3 business days) shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Although the order was received on-time and 4 days sooner than it would have arrived via UPS Ground, Jeff Hochstatter of EZ-IT, upon receipt of shipping confirmation and without contacting us to discuss his displeasure, immediately filed negative feedback complaining that we should have shipped the order via UPS or FedEx even though he selected Amazon Standard shipping at checkout.

After two weeks of attemping to discuss removing this undeserved feedback, his response is "do not call - do not contact". I hate to think what happens to people who actually do not perform a better than perfect transaction.
