I have been using GMS Lazerworks for all my printer needs for- I can't even remember how many- years. George is the best. He returned my call for help within a couple of hours, then he walked me through some diagnostic steps for my HP Laserjet printer. He knew exactly what to look for, and he solved my problem in just a few minutes. Thank you, George!

George is the best! He's local so whenever we need printer cartidges he delivers the same day if he's available and if he's not he'll deliver the very next morning. He is courteous and his prices are so unbelievably great I don't know why more people don't use him.

I recently had a printer seize up and called GMS. George spent a lot of time on the phone with me, trying to solve the issue, but eventually it needed to go in to be reset. Not long after it happened again, and George took it back and fixed it, sending me off with clear instructions on how to avoid the problem recurring. He was helpful, accommodating, and courteous,

This place is awesome! George who answered the phone when I called walked me through troubleshooting the error message I was getting on my Epson Inkjet. I ended up having to take it in for further diagnostics but when George determined the issue was unfixable- that I would need to get a new printer - he waived the charge for the diagnostic and even agreed to recycle the printer at my request.

He went above and beyond, was communicative throughout the process, and very generous with his time and information. GMS will be my new spot for all things printer related. They deserve the business.

George at GMS Lazerworks diagnosed our printer, fixed it fast, and gave us great rates on the parts and labor. In the past, we have had some problems with non-OEM toner ordered from Amazon, so now we've also started purchasing our toner from GMS.

I took my printer in for repair recently. They were knowledgeable, up front about fees and kept me up to date. They repaired the printer quickly and cleaned the machine beautifully. Every once in a while you find a business you would have no problem referring and this is one of those businesses. Great experience.

I have an HP Photosmart 5510 Inkjet printer that was not printing magenta color. Then I got an error message in printer display the printhead was damaged and it would no longer print. I called GMS Lazer Works and reached George right away. I asked him if he serviced my type of printer. He said yes, but reminded me that the cost may be more than a new replacement printer.

He patiently explained what the display message actually meant and the process of cleaning the printhead. George explained everything very clearly and detailed the service charges involved. Because of his kind and patient telephone manner and expertise, I decided to have him fix it rather than recycle it and purchase a new printer. I dropped it off at his office and was met by his gracious assistant Julie, who expecting me, wrote up the service order. George called me the next morning as promised and indicated that upon inspection the printer head was clearly too worn and not a candidate to be cleaned.

To my surprise and delight, he waved the service charge and even offered to recycle it for me saving me a trip back to pick it up. What more can one ask for!? I feel very grateful to have picked GMS Lazerworks and George to service my printer! You will be too. Sid C. Ross, Ca

I've lived in San Rafael Community for over 20 years. And of course been to hundreds of local businesses without generating a Yelp review. Until now! I cannot say enough about the customer service, the professionalism and amount of personal care that I received. I had a problem printer and George was very patient with explaining exactly what was going on in the unit, which was problematic and hard to figure out. Suffice it to say George went the extra mile for me, and everything is working again.

In a word, I really trust this man as a person, and skilled technician and responsible business owner. I would give you higher than five stars if I could! I'll definitely be back with other needs as they might come up with my electronics or printer. George and Julie, many thanks!

Julie and George were awesome to work with. They fixed a "sticky" paper jam, I had put paper that was suppose to be in an inkjet into the laserjet printer. George knows printers and explained everything to me very clearly. He basically fixed the jam for free because the cost was about the price of a maintenance cleaning which the printer never had before.

When asked how often, George said every 2 years or 5000 copies, which is a long time, fair and honest. I recommend GMS for the best service on printers. I hope to bring my office individual printers to repair in the future.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo printer, which I use for enlargements & greeting cards. The quality of my prints gradually deteriorated over the last 4 years. A friend from the Marin Photography Club recommended George, owner off GMS Lazerworks. He got to the bottom of the issue, spent hours/days adjusting, analyzing, striving until he reached perfection.

He is not satisfied with less. Not only is my printer in top condition, making professional quality prints, but he charged me for cleaning only, not the additional hours of labor he invested. He is the most personable business owner I have met updating me on his progress and resolutions. In addition George couldn't ask for anyone better than Julie, who greeted me so graciously. I'll be taking all of my service needs there. Highly recommend GMS.

I have been working with GMS for over a decade -- maybe even more. George and Tom are THE BEST. Professional, efficient, they always seem to figure out the problem I am having and fix it quickly. I also order/exchange toner cartridges with them. It's a great service and I don't know what I'd do without them.

Not that I ever wanted my LaserJet's duplexer to start jamming, but when it did it gave me an unexpected pleasure. Julie opened the door of the shop with a smile and reassured me that George would look at the printer as soon as he returned from a house call. By early the next day he had it repaired and ready to return, also with a smile and a friendly, expert view of the printer's prospects: It is one of HP's best but it's getting old they're not making replacement parts any more. "Any suggestions if I have to replace it?" I asked.

The next day he emailed a couple of model numbers and specs. George's business is service--superb service--not printer sales, so he had nothing to gain except my gratitude. Which he has, along with my complete confidence that if there is anything that can be done for an ailing printer, George will do it. He's the best.

I have Used GMS for several years. The service is TIP-TOP and the pricing is excellent. I am not a large volume shop so the service aspect is of utmost importantance. Saving a couple dollars on the cartridge is nice but the same day immediate service is awesome!

I called GMS to get a quote on a Dell toner. The woman I spoke with was very nice and took my info in order to give me a call back. I later received a voicemail from her stating that they do not deliver to San Francisco and don't really ship. So? I can't come pick it up? You can't give me a quote? I guess this place just doesn't want business. 2 stars for not giving me the quote I asked for, I guess I'll buy my toner elsewhere since they make it impossible to do so here.

My firm has been working with George and GMS Lazer works for over 20 years. We are a CPA firm and tend to work 7 days a week during our busy tax season. Around 1990, we were working on a Sunday and our printer jammed. No matter what we did, nothing worked. I looked in the yellow pages and the only person that answered my call was George (at that time he was working out of the garage at his home).

He came to our office, fixed our printer and the rest, as they say, is history. We get calls from people to buy their toners and that they will match whatever price we pay and I always tell them that I've been using the same company for over 20 years and I'm not changing. You know, sometimes it's not about the money. George and his staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
