Products and Services
This is the number one service requested! If you can't go online or your computer is nearly frozen, your computer has probably been hijacked my malware. Thats geek-talk for evil programs that pose as legitimate anti-virus programs in an attempt to snoop on your Internet browsing habits or trick you into forking over your credit card. We will patch the security holes in Windows, disinfect the viruses and install an effective, Paul-approved anti-virus program to prevent this from happening again.
We will upgrade your outdated version of Windows or Mac, speed up your system with a memory upgrade, update your email program or install the latest versions of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks or Adobe Creative Suite at a great price. Well also make sure you dont lose any of your precious data in the process.
In this era of identity theft, its essential to keep your computer protected from hackers and viruses. We will secure your network by installing hardware and software firewalls. With complete password protection, youll control who has access to your network and keep your slacker neighbors from sponging off your wireless.
Key People
Paul Spencer
Paul Spencer
Paul Spencer is the kind of guy who gets excited when PC World runs its annual review of Internet security software, or when the new Apple iMac uses an LED-backlit display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. As an Appleand CompTIA-certified technician, Paul gets great satisfaction from solving thorny computer problems. When a screen freezes or an Internet connection goes on the fritz, Paul works tirelessly to find out why and get the system back up and running.
John Parks
John Parks
Before becoming a computer-repair guy, John was a computer-crimes guy — an investigator with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office and before that, with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. “Most of the N.C.I.S. work was actually pretty boring,” John says. “It’s not like on television, where there are spies every week and maniacs to chase. Basically, you follow up on thefts from the Navy supply system.” After 21 years in law-enforcement, investigating computer crime in the later years, John moved to Bend and began a career in computer repair. A CompTia A+ and Network+-certified technician, John says he likes fixing computers for much the same reasons he enjoyed investigating computer crimes. “There’s a finality to your work. I like being able to say, ‘It’s done.’”
Matt Trager
Matt Trager
Matt used to be one of those fearless Manhattan bike commuters, dodging jaywalkers, speeding cars and open taxi doors en route to his IT job at a financial firm. "I had to make up for the fact that there were no outdoor activities in New York City," says Matt, a New Jersey native and Syracuse University graduate. "Getting to work was a real adrenaline rush." These days, Matt gets his rush mountain biking on Phil's Trail, skiing the back country or climbing at Smith Rock, either for fun or as a volunteer for the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office Search & Rescue team. When he's not rescuing injured climbers or lost hikers, Matt is busy out in the field resuscitating virus-infected computers and retrieving files from crashed hard drives. "Fixing computer issues is like solving a puzzle," Matt says. "There's always some way to do it – you just have to figure out how."

We needed to access company files, which were on one laptop, remotely from different machines simultaneously. Paul came in and set up a compact server for us to access via the web and hooked up all our machines.

Because of Paul, our access to information and thus our productivity has increased a bunch. Thanks Paul!
